Around 60 people including local graziers, pastoral industry
service suppliers and natural resource management officers met at
De Rose Hill Station to see the infrastructure that was installed
as part of the WaterSmart Pastoral Production™ project.
Attendees heard about the Fullers experiences whilst using and
monitoring the new technologies over the past 18 months and any
problems that have been experienced and how these were
overcome.
The field tour allowed for first hand views of the technologies
in use and incorporated a solar pumping system, a remote
automatic-start generator, and remote water level sensors on tanks
and a turkey's nest.

remotely start the diesel generator automatically based on water
levels in the tank.

also being used for remote monitoring of water levels in the
turkey's nest.
