As the research of the Desert Knowledge CRC evolved it became
apparent that many potential partners only had the resources to be
involved in one or two research projects and that they didn't have
the time to deal with the Centre Agreement. To facilitate the
demand so simple involvement in the Desert Knowledge CRC an
Affiliate Agreement was created. This partnership:
- allows an organisation to be part of a particular piece or
pieces of research
- reduces bureaucratic processes, and
- gives anorganisation access to the Desert Knowledge CRC's
network of partners and contacts.
