Education Program

The Desert Knowledge CRC Education program focuses on
  • Students
  • Youth
  • Postgraduate course development
  • Specialist industry training programs
  • External projects/desert education research

Alicia Boyle is the Co-ordinator of the Education Program. Alicia is based at Charles Darwin University in Darwin and is a member of the Regional Development team within the School of Social and Policy Research.

The Desert Knowledge CRC has, or is currently supporting the following:

  • 31 PhD Students
  • 3 Masters Students
  • 4 Honours Students
  • 5 Australian Apprentices/Trainees
  • 5 Vacation Research Projects

The Desert Knowledge CRC offers an annual student forum that provides networking, professional and career development opportunities for its students.  The forum is run over 2-3 days in Alice Springs.
