Day-to-day management is carried out by an Executive Management
Team (EMT) working with a small secretariat in Alice Springs.
The EMT comprises the Managing Director, the General Manager
Research, the General Manager Commercialisation and Communication,
the General Manager Operations, and the Executive Officer.
Within the strategic policies and guidelines of the Board, the EMT
is responsible for operational decision-making in the DKCRC. Weekly
management meetings occur by teleconference. All members of the EMT
have roles that cut across research programs, to assist with
integration (these roles will include oversight of specific DKCRC
Performance Indicators, to be reported on regularly, as well as
matters such as the involvement of government, land councils, small
business, CRC publicity, knowledge management, commercialisation,
and integrative research topics).
